On October 7th, Auktionshuset.com became Lauritz.com. The good from Lauritz.com has been preserved: employees, name, and platform. However, it is in an improved version – with new owners and a range of new initiatives that not only make us better but push industry standards.
With our history, we are lifting auctions into the future.
For more than 30 years, we have helped shape art and design auctions. Our passion is to bring a wide range of hidden treasures within reach, from the more affordable to the more exclusive.

In 2023, we expanded by acquiring the activities of the bankrupt Lauritz.com. This means we are larger, but we still have the same eye for originality. Same quality. Same professionalism. A modern auction house where you will find a wide selection of modern and older art, furniture, antiques, jewelry, watches, and electronics.

You can participate in daily auctions online with over 5,000 items per month and in our physical auctions held four times a year, focusing on selected art and design. No matter where you live, we are close to you with eight auction houses located in Hørsholm, Brøndby, Roskilde, Odense, Vejle, Aarhus, Aalborg, and Bornholm.

Our history
Auktionshuset.com was established in 1993 in Hillerød by Ole Steen Christensen, as Auktionshuset in Hørsholm. In 2022, businessman Ib Henrik Rønje took over Auktionshuset in Hørsholm, after being a shareholder since 2015. In August 2023, he expanded by purchasing the activities of the bankrupt Lauritz.com. The total of seven auction houses are now gathered under the company Auktionshuset.com A/S with Commercial Director Thomas Friberg.
