On October 7th, Auktionshuset.com became Lauritz.com.
What made Lauritz.com great has been preserved: the employees, the name, and the platform. However, it’s now an improved version—with new owners and a series of new initiatives that not only make us better but also push the standards of the industry forward.

In 2023, we expanded by acquiring the activities of the bankrupt Lauritz.com. This has made us larger, but we still maintain the same keen eye for originality, the same commitment to quality, and the same level of professionalism. As a modern auction house, we offer an extensive selection of contemporary and classic art, furniture, antiques, jewelry, watches, and electronics.

No matter where you live, we are close to you with eight auction houses located in Hørsholm, Brøndby, Roskilde, Odense, Vejle, Aarhus, Aalborg, and on Bornholm.

Vores historie
Auktionshuset.com was established in 1993 in Hillerød by Ole Steen Christensen under the name Auktionshuset i Hørsholm.
In 2022, businessman Ib Henrik Rønje took over Auktionshuset i Hørsholm after being a shareholder since 2015. In August 2023, he expanded further by acquiring the activities of the bankrupt Lauritz.com.
Today, the seven auction houses are united under the company Lauritz.com Danmark A/S, with Thomas Friberg serving as Commercial Director.
