Bidding FAQ

Where can I collect my item? The lot must be claimed at the Lauritz.com auction house where it was purchased. You can also get the lot sent to you. Read more about shipment and collection under Transport.
How can someone outbid me by bidding the same amount as me? When two customers place the same Max-bid on a lot, the one who bid first will win the auction. Read more about Max-bid here.
What does CET stand for? CET stands for Central European Time, the time zone in which our auction clock is running.
Can I withdray my bid? No, a bid cannot be withdrawn once you have placed and confirmed it. Something else applies to the Max-bid function.
Can I change already placed Max-bids? You can at any time place a new Max-bid on a lot. The new Max-bid will then count. Thus you can raise your Max-bid or lower it to the auction’s current highest bid.
How does Max-bid work? If you choose Max-bid, Auktionshuset.com will automatically bid on your behalf each time you are outbid until the amount reaches your pre-set limit. Read more about Max-bid here.
