So, what's new?
This website is brand new, but it’s not the only thing that has been under the hammer.
We have introduced a number of new initiatives because we know that credibility and trust come with action.
New owners are in charge.
The new team backing Lauritz.com is, in a way, an old team.
We have more than 30 years of experience running Auktionshuset.com, based in Hørsholm, where we have conducted both physical and online auctions.
We offer the industry's first complete price transparency for our buyers.
This means that what you bid is what you pay. No more unpleasant surprises with hidden fees or commissions. Just sit back after placing your bid and wait for the hammer to fall.
We have a four-week settlement period.
We know that waiting is boring. So, when your item is sold, you can expect to have the money within 28 days.

Can I just browse? Yes, you can. If you wish to place a bid, you need to register as a customer – and it’s completely free.
What happens to ongoing auctions at Auktionshuset.com? There are no practical consequences for users of Auktionshuset.com or for ongoing transactions.
Are you connected to the old Lauritz.com? The new Lauritz.com is a completely new company with no connection to the former Lauritz.com or its previous owners.
Do you have any legal or moral responsibility now that you own Lauritz.com? We have no legal responsibility. However, we understand that credibility and trust are built through actions. Therefore, we take responsibility for everything moving forward.
What is your stance on Lauritz.com’s bankruptcy? We are sorry that many customers were affected when the old Lauritz.com went bankrupt. If you are owed money by the previous owners, you should contact the trustee Henrik Selchau Poulsen at the law firm Bruun Hjejle.
What’s different about the new Lauritz.com? The good things remain: the skilled staff in our auction houses, the name, and the platform. However, the rest of Lauritz.com has been transformed into a new and better version – with well-established new owners, a significantly shorter settlement period, complete price transparency for buyers, and both online and physical auctions.
Why is price transparency important? Hasn’t there always been transparency? As a buyer in 2024, there is an expectation that the price you see is the price you will pay. This hasn’t traditionally been the case in the auction industry, where significant fees and commissions were added late in the bidding process. We are changing that with the new Lauritz.com, where buyers always know exactly what the final price is from the moment they first see the item.
