Danish Norwegian riding pallask M/ 1740 with associated scabbard M/1740/50. Brass bracket w. coupler bar, empty hanger and coupler plate in the shape of a clamshell, this stamped 'R.SC59'. Grip wrapped with thin twisted brass wire in braid pattern and smooth neck. Double-edged blade. Also used in Norway. Rare type only made in approx. 120 copies. Blade length approx. 87 cm, total length approx. 92.2 cm. Age-related traces of use. A firearms permit is required.
The pallas comes from a large Danish private collection.
